The above gripper was used to great success to handle steel parts that were dirty and slick with coolant.

Key elements of this robotic end of arm tool design were its simplicity, which resulted in a low cost quick to fabricate gripper finger.   This gripper finger has  easily replaceable hardened steel gripper pads for part contact.

This robotic gripper finger design along with a Schunk gripper proved to be a winning combination in solving this machine loading challenge.
